In our ‘Jeans Go Green’ project, we collected used jeans and recycled them to create something new. We combined the highest quality cotton fibres from the recycled jeans with sustainably grown cotton. The result is a high-quality pair of premium jeans that are durable, environmentally friendly and ready for the next recycling cycle – a step towards a closed-loop economy in the fashion industry.
At the Bonn Open 2024, we made the tennis event sustainable by relying entirely on reusable products. At the same time, we launched a collection project for used sportswear to recycle it and turn it into new, environmentally friendly sportswear. In this way, we combine sporting excellence with sustainable action and create a closed cycle in the sports sector too.
Our aim is to make sports clubs fully recyclable. To achieve this, we not only collect used sportswear, but also sports equipment in order to obtain sustainable, recycled materials. At the same time, we are developing strategies to strengthen clubs economically. Our aim is to provide clubs with new, high-quality sportswear made from recycled materials while protecting the environment and conserving resources in the long term.
