Legal standards and funding from the EU
The European Commission is supporting this path with various measures and legal frameworks that promote the transition to a circular economy.
Particularly relevant is the EU Sustainable Product Initiative, which aims to make products more durable and resource-efficient.
The Ecodesign Directive stipulates that manufacturers plan environmentally friendly product designs from the outset.
